The 5 Obstructions

The five obstructions.

Ok so, for me, the way that Jorgen Leth dealt with being put into a situation which he wouldn’t normally find himself in was fantastic, it forced him to think differently about how to produce an artefact. He had to work in a way that he wouldn’t usually work (in particular the 12 frames rules) and it forces him to think about how to create something from another angle. Even through all the restrictions thrown at him he still managed to produce something outstanding, and I guess this is how we should start to think in terms of our final production because forcing ourselves to think about something from another angle will help me to produce a better final artefact.
